Join your community in celebrating Kids to Parks Day! The Palm Bay Recreation Department invites you and your family to discover the natural wonders of our local parks on the third Saturday of May. Kids to Parks Day is a national initiative encouraging outdoor exploration, and we're thrilled to offer a day of activities at multiple locations throughout Palm Bay. See the list of events below and join the celebration.
Looking for a more independent adventure? Palm Bay boasts 31 parks, two community centers, a senior center, an aquatic center, a wildlife sanctuary, a nature center, a skate park, and a dog park – all waiting to be explored! Find your perfect park and discover its amenities here.
We want to see how much you enjoy our beautiful parks! We're inviting you to participate in a fun photo project. Grab your family, head to your favorite Palm Bay park, and snap some pictures of yourselves enjoying the scenery and activities.
Then, email your photos to bigfoot@pbfl.org along with a short paragraph telling us why you and your family love that particular park. What makes it special? Is it the playground, walking trails, picnic areas, wildlife, or something else entirely? We want to know!
We'll be sharing some of our favorite photos and stories on our Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Facebook page, so be sure to follow us at https://www.facebook.com/pbflparks.
Let's celebrate the wonderful parks we have right here in Palm Bay!
We look forward to seeing your park adventures!
