For the safety and well-being of participants and the public, the City of Palm Bay requires submission of a Special Event Application along with a to-scale Site Plan for both City Owned Property events and Non-City Owned Property events.
Non-City Property Events
Events that are open to the public require a Special Event Permit.
Applications can be placed through our iMS portal:
If there is an unauthorized Special Event in the City of Palm Bay, the City Manager or designee shall have the authority to cancel and suspend the event.
City Property Events
Please check availability for your requested date and times with our Community Centers.
Email us at PlayPalmBay@PalmBayFL.gov to request a Special Events Application and Agreement and a Site Plan document.
You may choose to use our provided Site Plan document if you don't have your own Site Plan to submit with the application. A site plan is required. If you need further assistance creating your to-scale Site Plan, there is free software available for download simply by doing a google search of "site plan software".
If there is an unauthorized Special Event in the City of Palm Bay, the City Manager or designee shall have the authority to cancel and suspend the Event.

City Co-Sponsorship Information
The City of Palm Bay offers limited co-sponsorship opportunities for qualifying special events. A new policy was adopted by City Council on May 1st, 2025. Applications are reviewed by the impacted city departments, with final approval by the City Council.
Co-Sponsorship applications forms for Fall and Winter events occurring between October 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027 must be completed and all supporting documentation received by our Recreation Department by 5 PM on Friday, July 17, 2026.
