We respond immediately when any member of our community needs help with professional, effective, and compassionate service. Palm Bay Fire Rescue is very proud of its employees.

A number of our employees serve as instructors at local schools (Eastern Florida State College, to name one), and are active in the Community through the IAFF Union Local 2446 as well as through their individual churches, schools, etc.

Our employees actively seek continuing education in order to provide top-notch customer service to the citizens and visitors of Palm Bay.

The Chief's Office receives many compliments from the public regarding employees who have stopped to change tires, stopped at vehicle crashes while off duty to provide care and concern, and given safety presentations to local organizations on their own time.

Many children have been positively influenced by our fire personnel and have decided to go into firefighting as a career.
