Consist of seven (7) members appointed by Council; each Council seat shall appoint one (1) member.  The remaining two (2) members' positions shall be considered at-large.

Requires filing of Statement of Financial Interests with Brevard County Supervisor of Elections. Board considers quasi-judicial matters.

Pursuant to Planning and Zoning Board By-Laws, members of the public wishing to use electronic media when addressing the board must provide the electronic file to staff for screening no later than 2:00 P.M. on the day of the meeting; audio presentations must be submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the meeting.

The guidelines below are the procedures for the Planning and Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency cases that require hearing signs to be posted and/or Citizen Participation Plan (CPP) meetings to occur. Board applications will indicate if a hearing sign and/or CPP meeting is required.

Applications to be considered by the Planning and Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency are submitted to the Land Development Division to be processed for review by the board and City Council. Only applications deemed complete will be processed.
