Storm Debris Pickup

Post Date:10/25/2024
The City of Palm Bay is working to secure debris pickup contractors to remove all storm-related debris and pressure-treated wood. The State of Florida was hit hard by Milton, and many parts of the Country are still recovering from Helene, which has tied up limited resources for yard waste and storm debris pickup. Please be patient, as the process takes time.
In preparation for pick up, please remember hurricane debris must be separated:
✅ Construction & demolition debris- vinyl fencing, carpet, furniture, etc.
✅ Vegetative debris- leaves, logs, plants, tree branches
✅ Wooden fencing, including panels, pickets, and posts
Republic Services is maintaining normal collection schedules for containerized trash, yard waste, and recycling. Any containerized yard debris will be picked up on your regular yard waste collection day.
For questions or concerns, please contact Public Works Customer Service at 321-952-3437 Option 4 or via email at PWcustomerservice@pbfl.org. We appreciate your patience, as multiple passes may be needed to collect all storm debris.
