Tim Rose Contracting, the contractor for Walden Ave SE, has been issued the Notice to Proceed (NTP), and work will begin by the end of the week. Barring any weather delays or unforeseen circumstances, the contractor should have the road reopened within 60 days. 

The materials have been ordered for Weldon St and Highland Ave and should arrive this week. City staff will perform a temporary repair, starting with Weldon and moving on to Highland. Both roadways should be reopened within 2-3 weeks, and the City will hire a contractor to install the permanent fix.
