As part of the Palm Bay Comprehensive Plan Update and Palm Bay Vision 2045, the City has begun a review of the Title XVII, Land Development Code, Palm Bay Code of Ordinances. The Land Development Code (LDC) is a set of standards for how property within the city can be developed. With coordination from the City’s consultant, INSPIRE Placemaking Inc., staff is proposing several amendments to the Land Development Code that will seek to align the LDC with the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan.

The City will host the public workshop on Tuesday, September 26 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Palm Bay Council Chambers located at 120 Malabar Road SE. For those unable to attend the meeting in-person, the workshop will also be available to watch on the City’s website.

The purpose of the public workshop is to review the proposed amendments to the LDC based on the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan, feedback from the community and key stakeholders.
