The City of Palm Bay is seeking public input on updates to the Comprehensive Plan. As part of the Palm Bay Comprehensive Plan Update, the City has hosted a series of community workshops to develop the recently adopted Palm Bay 2040 Vision Plan, followed by two public workshops to review and discuss the elements and goals the comprehensive plan.
The City will host the second and final public workshop on November 10 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Palm Bay Council Chambers located at 120 Malabar Road SE. For those unable to attend the meeting in-person, the workshop will also be available online, and residents will have the opportunity to interact virtually. Individuals interested in attending virtually may log in at 6:00pm at www.pbfl.org/vision.
The purpose of the final workshop is to review and collect feedback on proposed community-driven strategies for amending the Goals, Objectives, and Policies of the Comprehensive Plan. These strategies were developed based upon the content of the Palm Bay Vision Plan and the input received during Public Workshop #1.
The strategies will be presented to attendees during the evening’s breakout activity will cover a range of topics, such as land use, employment, housing affordability, connectivity and mobility, infrastructure, equity and diversity, sustainability, parks and conservation, and other important topics related to the City’s future.
The Comprehensive Plan is a long-range plan that will guide the City’s future actions through clearly stated goals, objectives, and policies. These policies inform local decision making and set the tone for future growth and development in the community. We hope you will join us on November 10th at 6:00pm at Palm Bay Council Chambers or participate virtually at www.pbfl.org/vision to make your voices heard!
