The City of Palm Bay is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest dog park at Ken Greene Memorial Park, located at 550 Riviera Dr NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905. A public ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 14 and all members of the community and their furry friends are invited to attend.
This exciting addition to Ken Greene Memorial Park provides a dedicated space for dogs of all sizes to play and socialize. The new dog park features a variety of amenities designed to enhance the experience for both dogs and their owners.
Park Features:
- Separate Areas for Large and Small Dogs: A secure fence divides the park into distinct areas, ensuring the safety and comfort of all dogs.
- Shaded Seating: Parks staff have installed four sunshades with dog bone benches, providing comfortable seating for owners.
- Agility Course: Dog obstacle courses have been installed, offering dogs a fun and stimulating environment.
- Waste Stations: Conveniently located waste stations help keep the park clean and sanitary.
- Concrete Sidewalks: Smooth concrete sidewalks provide easy access throughout the park.
- Pavilion: A new 20x20 pavilion offers shade and shelter.
- Water Stations: Doggie water bowl stations and wash stations, situated on a new concrete pad, provide essential hydration and cleaning facilities.
