As an approved Veterans Training Facility, we recognize the value of prior service and are committed to supporting veterans as they transition into a meaningful civilian career. Veterans hired with our agency may buy back up to four (4) years of eligible military service toward their retirement, allowing them to carry forward the investment they made in serving our country. In addition, eligible veterans may utilize their approved VA On-the-Job Training (OJT) benefits while employed with the department, further supporting their professional development during their transition to civilian service.
