18 years of age or older
Graduation from High School or GED
Possess a valid Florida Driver's License
Pass a typing test with a minimum speed of adjusted 40 wpm. The typing test is proctored by CareerSource Brevard.
Must be able to obtain a Florida 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST) Certificate within 12 months of the hire date.
Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and during emergencies.
Must be able to work extended shifts, as needed.
Pass a background investigation. A background investigation can take approximately four (4) weeks.
