Required to have background or experience in budgeting, finance, accounting, economics or financial planning. Experience reviewing financial reports, analyzing expenditures or evaluating funding priorities. Ability to review, understand, and communicate budgetary and financial information in a manner the public can understand.
Members shall attend mandatory training regarding the budget process, basic governmental accounting practices, review of budgeting policies and the Government-in-the-Sunshine and Public Records Laws of the State of Florida.
Maximum number of Members:
Consist of seven (7) members appointed by City Council: each Council seat shall appoint one (1) member, and two (2) at-large appointments by a majority of Council.

Council appointments – Coincides with councilmembers’ terms
