The City of Palm Bay adopted its updated Land Development Code (LDC) in September 2024. The City is currently in the process of advancing Phase 2 of the Land Development Code updates, which focus on targeted refinements to improve clarity, predictability, and implementation.
Phase 2 LDC Updates
Phase 2 of the Land Development Code update is focused on targeted textual amendments to selected chapters of the Code. The process includes internal staff coordination, technical stakeholder input, community engagement, public workshops and hearings before the Planning and Zoning Board and City Council.

Phase 2 Engagement and Process
Phase 2 includes engagement with both community stakeholders and technical stakeholders, as well as workshops and public hearings. Input gathered throughout the process will inform draft code revisions prior to formal adoption.
