Throughout the month of May, our Building Department will participate in the 46th Annual Building Safety Month, a worldwide campaign presented by the International Code Council, its members, and partners to promote building safety.

This year’s campaign, “Built To Last” highlights how modern building codes, safety professionals and resilient construction practices protect homes and communities around the world. This year’s campaign encourages people of all ages to participate in learning about building safety.

Our code officials work day in and day out to keep the public safe. We come together to support Building Safety Month because we understand the need for safe and sustainable structures where we live, work and play. For more information, please visit 2026 Building Safety Month - Internation Code Council Website.
