Precautionary Boil Water Notice

On Friday, January 23, 2026, customers may have experienced a water service interruption or low water pressure due to a water main break. Approximately 761 customers in the northwest section of the City of Palm Bay were affected. Service disruption to these customers was reported at approximately 11:10 a.m., and full service was restored at approximately 13:10 today.

Therefore, as a precaution, we advise boiling all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Additionally, bottled water may be used as an alternative.

 

This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. Typically, boil water notices remain in effect for two to three days. Affected customers will be notified once the boil water notice has been lifted.
