The City of Palm Bay Parks & Facilities Department is pleased to announce the upcoming reconstruction of the tennis/pickleball court at Ken Greene Memorial Park, located at 550 Riviera Drive NE. This project, made possible through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, will significantly enhance the recreational amenities available to our community.
To facilitate the necessary demolition and site preparation for the new court, the existing facility will be closed beginning Wednesday, April 2. While the exact start date for construction and an estimated completion timeline is still being finalized, the city is committed to minimizing disruption and completing the project as efficiently as possible.
"We understand the importance of this recreational space to our residents and are excited to deliver an improved facility," said Josh Hudak, Parks Division Manager. "This reconstruction reflects our commitment to providing high-quality recreational opportunities for the Palm Bay community."
The City of Palm Bay appreciates the public's patience and understanding during this period of improvement. Regular updates and photos of the project's progress will be shared on the City’s Parks & Recreation Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pbflparks.
