Registration for Spring Swim Lessons at the Palm Bay Aquatic Center opens on Monday, April 6 at 9 AM. Registration will be done online only at playonline.palmbayfl.gov. It's highly recommended that you create your online account in advance to ensure a smooth registration process. Space is limited for all sessions, so be sure to register early as sessions tend to fill up quickly. Please note that all registrations are final, and no refunds will be issued.
The Spring Swim Lessons include 8 different levels for ages 6 months to adults. Lessons will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from May 5 through May 21. Each section includes six 30-minute sessions. See class dates, times, and descriptions at www.palmbayfl.gov/swimlessons.
The price for each session (6 classes) is $40. Discounts are available for participants who qualify for EBT; however, documentation is required. If you believe you qualify for a discount, please contact swim@palmbayfl.gov before completing your registration to make the necessary arrangements.
An important note regarding special needs clients: The State of Florida mandates specific certifications for instructors teaching swim lessons to individuals with special needs, such as those with autism or Down syndrome. Currently, none of the Palm Bay Recreation instructors hold these specialized certifications, and therefore, they are unable to teach children with special needs.
